Our client came to us with a clear aesthetic and references of woodland cabins. The brief was to create an urbanised multi-purpose interpretation to house an extensive book and record collection, as well as a small work station.

The resulting studio was carefully moulded around a delicate tree to create distinct zones with a relatively small footprint. To increase the sense of space, we incorporated an elevated asymmetrical roof which required planning consent.

The office allows for concentrated work time, whilst the main area is a tranquil room ready for relaxation.
